  • 2/3 cup Nutella

  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped toasted pecans
  • ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with nonstick foil, making sure to extend the foil about 2 inches beyond the edges. This will help in easily lifting the treats out once set.
  2. Melt butter and marshmallows: In a large 6-quart pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add the bag of miniature marshmallows and stir continuously with a rubber spatula until they are almost melted and the mixture becomes smooth.
  3. Add Nutella and vanilla: Stir in the Nutella and vanilla extract into the melted marshmallow mixture. Continue stirring until the mixture is fully blended and smooth, ensuring an even Nutella flavor throughout.
  4. Mix in cereal: Remove the pot from heat. Add 6 cups of Cocoa Krispies cereal and stir gently but thoroughly until the cereal is evenly coated with the Nutella-marshmallow mixture.
  5. Press into pan: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula or clean hands to press the mixture down evenly and firmly into an even layer. Allow it to cool completely to set.
  6. Add toppings: Once the base is cooled, spread 1 cup of Marshmallow Fluff evenly over the top. Then, scatter 1 cup miniature marshmallows, ½ cup chopped toasted pecans, and ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips evenly over the Fluff. Gently press these toppings down so they adhere to the surface.
  7. Cut and store: Carefully lift the treats out of the pan by pulling the foil edges. Peel off the foil and place on a cutting board. Cut into 24 evenly sized squares. Store the treats in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

  • Make sure to stir the marshmallow mixture continuously to prevent burning at the bottom of the pot.
