Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 24 oz white chocolate chips (or melting chocolate wafers)
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • a few drops yellow food coloring

Add-ins

  • 2 cups chopped Lemon Oreos

Instructions

  1. Prep: Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with waxed paper, allowing the paper to overhang on two opposite sides for easy removal later.
  2. Melt: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter.
  3. Microwave and Stir: Microwave the mixture for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly for 1 minute to use residual heat to melt the chocolate further.
  4. Continue Melting: Microwave the mixture in additional 30-second intervals, stirring well for 1 minute after each, until the mixture is completely smooth and fully melted.
  5. Mix Flavor and Cookies: Stir in the lemon extract, chopped Lemon Oreos, and a few drops of yellow food coloring evenly throughout the fudge mixture.
  6. Pour: Transfer and pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Press some additional chopped Lemon Oreos on top for decoration and added crunch.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature until it hardens completely. Once set, slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate chips or melting wafers for the creamiest texture.
  • Ensure you microwave in short increments and stir often to prevent burning the chocolate.
  • Pressing extra Oreos on top adds a decorative touch and texture contrast.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
  • For a stronger lemon flavor, add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract if desired.
