Ingredients

Scale

Salmon and Toppings

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Zest and juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Optional Vegetables

  • Cherry tomatoes or asparagus (optional, for roasting alongside)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Season Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, minced garlic, and lemon zest evenly over each fillet.
  3. Add Boursin Cheese: Break the Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese into chunks and distribute evenly on top of each salmon fillet.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork. For a golden, slightly crisp top, broil for the last 1–2 minutes—watch closely to prevent burning.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice over each fillet, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • This recipe works beautifully with other Boursin flavors like Shallot & Chive or Cracked Black Pepper for variation.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute with a vegan herb cheese alternative.
  • Add cherry tomatoes, sliced zucchini, or asparagus to the baking dish for a convenient roasted vegetable side.
  • The dish is best enjoyed fresh but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
